Experiments with different materials are exciting; it’s a great way to broaden artistic expression with different media. Sometimes I use it as a way to prepare a new painting, or it helps me to figure out how to carry on with a painting. And sometimes I just use (digital) collage techniques to organize a range of images, as a fun way to study colours and light.
